Since The Bore is apparently going to continue past the start of July it doesn't feel appropriate to continue under that name, nor does it feel appropriate to shut down this fully operational battle station. So this thread can be for considering new names, either ones that honor The Bore legacy (The Boredello, Bore is Hell, etc.) or something else that's either a stupid reference or just a funny or interesting name. My main preference is that it be somewhat short. This thread can also be used for offering names for the two sections as I intend to change those semi-randomly, those can be far longer especially if that makes it funnier.
Also, thanks to all of you for being responsible idiots for over two whole weeks.
In any case, thebore.net URL will continue to work for at least a year and I'll try to remind everyone before so they can either update favorites/bookmarks or if I should just renew it.

They need to drive up traffic. Rebranding as Child Porn.com would attract thousands of new members. Obviously there’s a slight chance some of them could potentially be pedophiles, or undercover agents but think of the ad revenue.

The Bore was a dig at The Shower Elf but Gaf is irrelevant. Lore isn’t a lolcow anymore. So it makes sense to rebrand as The Nep. If not The Nep, then The Dumbs, or The Ree. Something that actually represents the new gaf

That doesn't seem to be the case anymore- he posted again that it's not shutting down. The original site is back to normal and he removed the posts I made pointing to here. I think giving this place a different title, even if just slightly different, makes sense.

I disagree. Everything happened exactly how he wanted it and now he's changed his mind. He even posted a sly dig about running a forum being not so easy when this site was down for a few hours. He should let it die like he and ask the others wanted.
