Zeo drawing the line at wishing a disney movie bombs

Disney sucks, the live action remakes suck, and almost all of the media they put out now sucks. I understand that Zegler was forced to put out this statement, but the movie will be bad regardless. They should be protecting her more, rather than putting her out to slaughter. The movie bombing will be their reward.

Ignoring the fact that we have no idea if the movie will be good or bad, that isn't relevant to this topic at all.

For a year and a half, Rachel Zegler has been harassed by racist right-wing chuds for simply existing. They have spent the entire time saying that the movie is going to bomb and claiming the're going to boycott it.

And now, Zegler speaks up against a white supremacist and the people who voted him into office, Disney makes her apologize for it, and your response is... that you hope the movie she has been attacked for starring in bombs. Because that'll show... Disney?

What we should be doing is hoping that the movie is good and successful, shutting up the racists who have been going after it and giving her a win after the constant attacks.

Because I hate to tell you, but if Snow White bombs, the lesson Disney will learn is not going to be "no more live action remakes." It's going to be "we were too woke."

posting from a VR-capable PC with Alyx, RTX 4090 and i9 13900 KF, aka 4K VR is easy. I have a Meta Quest Pro and PS VR2.

I'll confirm. Alyx is/was the next Super Mario 64 moment with games, but until VR is something as light and easy as putting on and off glasses, you'll always be one of the select few that saw and experienced Alyx in a time when it was shape-shifting.

And many games have these "Alyx moments" for a brief moment. Moments where VR feels like it's the next dimension from B/W to color, 2D to 3D, etc. But Alyx sustains and weaves these moments around its entire premise that it has no synonym. It's quintessential VR gameplay simply because it's so indescribable to anyone that hasn't a reference for that.

I'll take this moment to also pitch other incredible VR games like Superhot, Underdogs, etc. and the VR mods like the UEVR injector that transforms and lifts old games into native VR. Absolute gamechanger.

It was never gonna be a sliver of hope, even with Kamala elected. The Israeli and Jewish lobby is far too influencial and strong within the US to let Palestine have any respite. It'll be business as usual with Trump or with Kamala.

However, at the very least, with Muslim voters showing that they do have somewhat of a say in the election, maybe it will give the dems a kick in the ass that you can't just ignore one segment of the voter base and expect to have things handed to you on a silver platter just because they call and see themselves as the "good guys".
