I think the article is reaching a bit, a graffiti in SF1 and then the soundtrack for the 94 movie are not what I would call a major part of the popularity of the franchise.

Also

"Street Fighter III" had the heaviest hip-hop presence, with composer Hideki Okugawa writing several tracks with jazz-infused beats that evoke the boom bap sound of A Tribe Called Quest.

I mean, only the third version of SF3 matches this, people too often forget about New Generation and 2nd Impact.
And absolutely nothing of this was present in the last 20 years of the franchise

I actually don't disagree that there's a bit of revisionism going on but I don't think it's a bad thing.

It really is awful and sounds like elevator music. I believe Ree recently did a thread about it where the majority of them said it was amazing for some reason. It's far and away the weakest soundtrack in the series, which is saying something since 4 is distinguishedly shit.

I'm not sure how much this has been discussed, but I think users should start threatening to mass delete their posts. That could effect Reddit's SEO results. I'm sure the company could bring deleted content back if push comes to shove, but that would be a really bad look. I don't think think this company will budge unless people are willing to really risk something.

I've already done that with my posts (8yrs worth). I haven't deleted my account, however (I've got it in my calendar to do that on the 30th).

I don't know the politicians in questions, so maybe they could really be assholes, but their reaction also feels someone would have if their opponent constantly argues by saying that if you don't do what they say they'll kill themselves. I have a feeling that none of the constituents they have ever get that dramatic despite having some serious grievances
