Yeah, it's increasingly becoming clear that I and people of similar tastes are no longer Sony's primary audience/consumers. And really the broader industry in general because I just look at so many games that come out and think "never would I ever".

Because I'm with anyone who's: 1) not particularly enthusiastic about the Horizon IP, and 2) doesn't find this aesthetic and games with a similar style particularly attractive.

But I'm sure this will probably pop for them. I also really don't care about co-op focused games at this point. If I'm going to be playing a multiplayer game involving other people, it has to involve the threat of other people. If it's just purely playing against NPC AI, I'd much, much rather just play higher quality single player games with my game playing time instead.

So yeah, this game is big time not for me. At least I've got Marathon around the corner that I'm excited for, and then GTA later this year in terms of big funded, high effort games that actually more truly align with my tastes.

It's nuts how much the knives are out in this thread over this game. Whatever happened to apathy over something you thought looked like it wasn't your thing? This stuff reads like a dogpile over something you'd assume was indifference.

This is a three-player co-op PVE Monster Hunter-esque game set in an IP that is sorta born for it.

It is quite literally Fortnite character models with Spider-Verse-style texture work on top. Pretty much THE most derivative and unimaginative art style they could have made, but since it's Soyny it must be defended no matter what. 

Only positive is that the gameplay looks better than the mainline Horizon series.
