today even before the expected price hike, the absolute cheapest one on amazon is $3000

(similar story for RAM I bought at the time)

what I am saying is that I'm glad for once that I was able to get in under the wire on this, though not for any genius market foresight or anything

I got a D in physics so someone correct me here but that sounds relatively correct unless we figure out FTL travel. Of course I guess we dont really know the size of something non-observed but would be the general thought.

My understanding is that something would have to travel faster than the speed of light to move beyond the boundaries of the observable universe, so that "we could no longer see it".

The expansion of the universe means that the most distant observable parts of the universe do eventually accelerate away from the earth faster than light, disappearing across the cosmological horizon. This will lead to all other galaxy clusters outside the Local Group becoming invisible in roughly 150 billion years. I've taken an astronomy course, so I'm something of an expert.

No, this is sus and you can't trust the accuser:

The situation is sus, not sure what it has to do with Will Smith, and I believe this Brian guy from AGT has had situations he's been involved with in the past, allegations against him or he had allegations against someone else. I can't quite remember.

Plus, yeah, we live in hell and everyone is flippant about everything these days, but regardless of whether people like Smith or not, throwing around words like "sexual assault" and "grooming" so casually and neglecting to clarify or define what exactly the accusation being made is based on or how it constitutes being labeled as either of those things is just gross and negligent.

There's a whole lot of weird shit here that isn't squaring, so I'm going to say that nothing should be made about any of this until/unless some clear reporting and actual accusations of wrongdoing attributable to Will himself appear.

The lawsuit just seems to be saying that he reported a bunch of this weird shit and Smith fired him for it. Typical capitalist silencing artists. It's not accusing Smith of doing any of that so I don't know why they're focused on it.
