Fwiw I can get that, its just really hard to see that as the appeal when were being drowned out by these people endlessly and they're winning on the industry side. Maybe I'm just feeling the hit of everything landing at once this year, maybe just at the end of all I can take. It just fuckin sucks when the big reveal we all waited for looks like more pain and suffering, something I'm endlessly surrounded by.

Honestly, no. I'll give you the truth of it. I'm caring for 4 disabled people who will be dying shortly, most of my family. Along with my wife who's also disabled and developed a similar disability myself this year which has made the latter harder ofc. I found out today my mums best friends husband is off to Asia to likely diddle kids. I'm just about done with reality and gaming was my escape.

Seeing the trailer for my fav hobby, and the big one, being a man burning alive while people fuck just....didn't sit right. It kind of told me my escape won't be what I wanted anymore and I'll find a new hobby to hide away in. I get people wanna dunk and go for it, I couldn't care less as I'll be deleting my account as soon as I figure out how to message a mod.

If nothing else, I just wanna voice my support for the gay, trans and disabled posters on this site one last time. My thoughts will always be with you, and anyone else looking forward to the game I hope you enjoy it, but this industry and world just aint for me no more. I also wanna say thanks for your concern, but it ain't worth it

There's so many weird posts on that forum where they're like "I love this game but the fans make it impossible to enjoy" and similar. It's like, who fucking cares? Just enjoy the game? Don't go reading Twitter or forums about it? Or find "safe" forums like Era where everyone is playing it for the high femme ideals instead?

That Nepenthe post, and many others on there, drips with this unfathomable weight that this or that "community" (or "news events") supposedly places on them. You can just opt out! Repeat after me, you're allowed to be an individual. What other people are doing does not reflect on you if you aren't participating and especially not if you're criticizing it. Nothing will happen if you just ignore it. There's nobody to hold you to account except yourself.

This was the show stealer for me. I couldn't get enough of the first one and soaked up everything it had to offer. Having a total containment breach be the follow up is so cool, the shot of the blood and bodies on the steps of the FBC really set the tone. In my veins.
