Then add an entire conglomerate of right winners harassing him for years and years, doing nothing but digging up any possible dirt and smear, and flooding Reddit with it.

The contention in this thread is all based on the hallucinated conspiracy theory that he modified a collar between streams out of panic. Nothing has proven that he shocked a dog live on stream, out of the blue, in front of 40k people after 1000s of live hours with the dog hanging out in the back or off screen or during streamed play time in the park. It doesn't matter if it's a modified shock collar, in fact that kind of proves that he doesn't shock his dog in the first place, unless of course you're chasing ghosts to prove the hallucination is true.

So just assume for like five minutes Hasan is actually lying, the collar has a shock mode, and he used it to shock Kaya with a remote he deliberately keeps out of view when she started moving in order to keep her in frame. Just, for a minute, accept it as true.
Then when people call out Hasan, the next day he shows the collar in his clenched fist, with black tape covering the serial number as well as covering the exact area where you'd be able to tell if it was a shock collar. The collar he shows has a round LED window, not square like the vibration-only model would have, and the thickness of the collar Hasan shows matches up perfectly with dimensions of the schematics from the electric collar variant which is thicker. Then imagine an entire conglomerate of stans and apologists nodding in agreement with Hasan even when all availible video evidence indicates he's lying and not a single clip supporting what he's saying can be found, and in the the one clip you can see the remote, he slides it on his desk until it's out of frame and then glances nervously at the camera.
I assure you, everything will fall into place.

I have little bit of sympathy for GameFreak as developer (not as a company as a whole), because this stuff explains why they tend to eliminate fan favorite features from their games and reiterate on the stuff that people are tired about. 

But who knows, maybe they are the ones assuring Nintendo/ThePokemonCompany that they can make those games in a low budget. Maybe they have fought for a higher budget for years but Nintendo/TPC doesn’t consider worthy of investment as “this shit is going to sell”. Maybe the bigwigs on GameFreak know they need more money and manpower, but don’t care anymore, su fuck their employees (they are not making those games a that budget without putting a lot of pressure to their employees).

I just always felt that GameFreak has the talent and ambition, but not the technical expertise and manpower to make groundbreaking stuff. And this kind of validates this sentiment.

I imagine they do. In truth, it wouldn't be all that different from how they already operate in terms of the amount of content they push. The DLC would need to be beefier, but a major game + 2 rounds of DLC is about right.
