Still, it's worth mentioning, in the light of the way the judge describe her testimony, that Hockey Canada paid her millions and lost tens of millions in government grants and sponsorship deals because of this story.

And all the defense had to do was catch her in some sort of slip and she'd be found not credible...which I don't know how you'd avoid after so many years and being stuck in front of a courtroom for so long. And it worked, both as a result of prosecution flubs and her own testimony.

Disgusting if unsurprising result, and adds further fuel to 'there's no point in even coming forward' for women.
