Because "reflecting" is performative horsecrap that does nothing for anyone that isn't yourself. The point of reflecting is to inculcate a sense of moral righteousness; those that want to help, do. Reflecting is the "thoughts and prayers" of activism.

I'm sure this person is banned but they're absolutely right, it's performative bullshit. If you gave a shit about changing the opinions of people you supposedly love or care about you'd make an effort year round, instead these dipshits jerk off to the thought of annoying everyone at thanksgiving in what will presumably be the most incoherent screeching of an argument you've ever heard.
