It won't be long before we see multiple stories about female athletes being seriously injured by trans competitors and questions being asked of administrators about the safety of women in these competitions.
more regulatory bodies will just start quietly banning trans people and ignoring protests, that way the injuries and questions won't start happening and they won't ever have to admit it was a concern
"oh yeah we banned em just due to community consensus, out of our hands really, there's no danger and they have no advantages but oh well, the people have spoken"
better outcome regardless, it sacrifices the ability to hold anyone accountable but at least no needless injuries, and scholarships can go to those who actually deserve it
