Trying to find why Thordinson got banned.  Also logged into the riotous account and saw this in the Trump thread

After a long discussion, any thread with the "Politics" prefix will have the following rules applied to it.
There is to be no derailing threads from their main topic and totally hijacking them.
There is to be no making wild accusations or insulting each other.
If you make a thread that is pointlessly inflammatory or deceptive then it will be locked and you will be actioned accordingly. Any attempts to circumvent the rules will be met the same way.
The infractions for breaking the rules will be as follows: on a first offense you will be barred from the threads marked "Politics" for a week. On a second offense you will be barred from the threads marked "Politics" for a month. On a third offense you will be barred from the threads marked "Politics" until the end of the election season.

While the prefix might not be applied immediately, these rules will still apply and anyone not following them will be actioned accordingly. Attempting to get in under the wire after being actioned previously will result in a ban.

Will these rules be applied to admins and moderators?
