I just think polling for anyone not named Biden or Trump doesn’t mean much at this point. They’re not out there stumping, campaigning, making a case, etc. Regardless of if its good or bad, the public profile and sense of reality is just different. I’m sure Tom Hanks would dominate in some theoretical poll, but once he’s on the campaign trail, who knows how that would go?

Anyway I am more upset at this kabuki theater around who it should be. I was never the biggest Kamala supporter to begin with, but the whole point of a ticket is that you are voting for a president AND their possible replacement. It’s cut and dry IMO. All this talk about whoever else sounds way more like Deep State controlling the chessboard than anything someone can suggest about Biden stepping down.
