I used to think there wasn't a dumber comment on songs on YouTube than "who is listening to this in [current year]" but I think "we need this kind of music now more than ever" is going to surpass it. It's funniest on new songs from bands that were once some more distinct genre but aren't even playing that anymore and more generic "alternative" rock or whatever.

edit: Now I want to search for classical music like Beethoven on YouTube and see if anyone posts "who is listening to this in 2026?" on that.
