Echoing what’s said above, make an effort to get fit and strong. Your body will be less resilient. Lifting weight and staying conscious of diet mitigates some of the downslope of aging. And while it’s never too late to start, every year you put it off, you’ll be wishing you created the foundation earlier. And on that, don’t follow fitness advice meant for people a decade younger. You need more warm ups. You need to check ego for being prone to injury and length recovery cycles.
Speaking of cycles...cycling is your friend. Low impact, high return on investment for physical and mental health.
