tbh I keep thinking of panic buying a GPU for my desktop.
Also missed a $450 Switch 2 + Mario Kart deal.
It’s kind of awful when it tries. Combat felt exactly like old Metroid Prime games. As somebody who played MP2 multiplayer with friends, it’s not great combat on its own. I don’t know if they were afraid of changing anything because fans expected George W Bush nostalgic gaming.
The 2D games added parrying and such. That all could show up later after Samus loses and regains her powers. Again, not the best representation in the demo.
I will say, there’s none of that shit where you shoot a door switch and wait seconds for it to load before opening. Next gen is here.

Pretty bad demo but what can you do. It’s the introduction bit with a lot of combat and tutorials. Zero exploration. Finished it before the 10 minute time limit.
Looks fine. Weird to play with double stick aiming. Main actions are mirrored on shoulder buttons and face buttons.
