October 31, 2017 - the first cracks already show
only a scant few days after resetera is established, the forum is flush with enthusiasm for their new start
mods promise to be less heavy-handed and more open than the mods at gaf had been, and they promise that everyone gets a clean slate, and are welcome to participate until they prove themselves disruptive

in this thread, kristoffer (known to some as shosta) made a comment that even noted crime statistic quoter JonTron would be welcome at era as long as he followed the rules, but was quickly slapped down by Sweet Nicole and forced to edit out his post (archive)
kristoffer only lasted three weeks as an era mod (being far too reasonable) and before too long was permabanned as well
in honor of kristoffer, whose only legacy is that he was some conservative mod who is now banned, I leave you with his favorite era thread:
