y'know...I almost drowned as a kid too, and hearing the news that a former celebrity drowned vacationing in costa rica at age 54, the thought of bringing this up wasn't anywhere near my mind

I only thought of it in the context of him butting in to share fun facts apropos of nothing

like how is that fact about me relevant at all to this news, drowning in your 50s is a lot different than almost drowning as a kid and I probably can't even afford a vacation to costa rica

also what is even added to the conversation by saying "wow yeah it doesn't feel good to drown, I bet you didn't even think about that, you probably thought it feels good but it doesn't"
