It was...interesting. Definitely a thinker. I was expecting something I dunno...more popcorn cutesy.
I went to the bathroom afterward and while I was in there I overheard a dad comforting his 3-4 year old son who was crying as he recounted several specific scenes. The fact that it was able to provoke such an emotional response from a kid that small with no dialogue (and a lot of ambiguity) really impressed me.
It's not scary or gory or anything like that. In fact, even the sad parts are played pretty low-key.
