Same with a European Federation (which is now again on the table following Trumps remarks about Greenland).
Russia and China have shown no signs of stopping their imperial expansion and now Erdogan has joined them by taking Syria.

We've seen with Obama and Biden that the neoliberal foreign policies don't work anymore and the nuclear deterrent is out the window too.

A peaceful unification of the US, Mexico and Canada would instantly create the most powerful super state on the planet. 
China wouldn't be measuring catch up in decades but centuries. 

Right now the US has to idly sit by as it watches countries like Canada and Mexico being gobbled up by China either through corruption, drug cartels or economic depression and the EU is doing very little to stop the Russians and nothing against the North Koreans.

With NATO article 5 I don't worry about the US not protecting their interests, I'm more worried about the other members being too weak or unwilling to fight.
The only ones who dared to drop some bombs on the Russians are Trump and Erdogan and in both cases the Russians choose to flee.
