I have found and worked with plenty of people who understand the fundamental problems of exploitation, oppression, and environmental destruction inherent to capitalism and want to work together to get rid of it. It's perfectly normal and acceptable for employees who aren't being paid a living wage to skirt some of their responsibilities.
