She walked me back to my car holding hands and she send me a message before I was home again.

Funny enough I wanted to call it off after 30 minutes until something clicked.

We'll see what happens next.

Least effort I put in ever. I was in the car thinking I should've just canned it. Traffic was slow as shit. Quick shave in the car. Walk through the rain. 

I was taking some pictures around the square until she showed up. First impression was "here we go again.gif". She was dressed in every day clothes picked a simple bar asked if I was ok with it. She took me to a small interview table in an mostly empty bar and I said: "nah lets just hang at the bar". 

After 30 - 45 minutes I looked at her as she was yapping about her dating and wanted to say: "sorry not feeling it have a good life" but the energy shifted. She was having a good time singing along with the music and all that and wanted to order another drink. Things like the Covid lockdowns and social distance came up. I said: "yeah I'm glad that shit's over now we can get as close as we want" and moved closer and gave her a hug.

The place used to be a pilot bar. Pilots not for her, they had a girl in every city. I said I wanted to be a pilot as a kid. She laughed. She had a beer called "Maverick" just like Top Gun.

She was talking about playing Mario Kart at work on an old Gamecube. At the end it was just nonsense the 2nd hour had flown by.

She insisted to walk me back but I was too fast she said. Told her not to worry and take my hand. She did the usual "ok maybe see you again" polite closing act so I said "just come here" gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. That’s when she took her chance. 

She pointed out something I hadn't realized. The loungebar is in a hotel, that's a red flag. She told a friend and she said don't meet at a hotel so she was happy I was fine visiting her city.

I've dated prettier, I've dated less pretty. She admitted herself she needed to get in shape again after a ski accident but at 35 it's marginal right.

What's next? I dunno I have the gym tonight. We had a good time and maybe that's all there is to it. I'll give her some space. If she wants to meet again she knows how to get in touch. I might check in with her tommorow for weekend plans if nothing else comes up. It is. what it is.
